Friends of Trumbull is a volunteer group that supports the activities organized at Trumbull Manor. Under the auspices of Trumbull Manor Inc., the Friends of Trumbull host fundraisers for the preservation of the building, promote the activities of the Conference Center among friends and family, and volunteer in various ways to sustain the vitality of Trumbull Manor as an important contributor to the Community.
Thank your for all your prayers, time and support.
Dear Friend of Trumbull Manor,
The Board of Trumbull Manor would like to thank everyone who contributed to Trumbull Manor Conference Center so generously this year as well as in years past. We would like to take this opportunity to once again ask for your support. Trumbull is committed to its mission of enriching the lives of men and women, young and old, through its numerous activities offering spiritual, cultural, and intellectual benefits.
Retreats, conferences, evenings and days of recollection, and workshops fill the calendar at Trumbull and these numerous activities benefit approximately 1500 participants yearly.
Your donations allow the staff, volunteers, as well as the Board to continue with much needed updates to this historic home. Ongoing efforts include improvements to the grounds and gardens as well as painting and carpeting the interior. In 2016 the 1st and 2nd floors were carpeted as were the staircases, and next year if funds are available the 3rd floor hallway will be carpeted as well. The shrine to Our Lady in the garden has begun! It will be completed in the months ahead. Also the beautiful old tree that died 2 years ago is currently being replaced. The cabinetry and kitchen renovation is scheduled for next month. Still needed are funds to renovate the laundry and ironing room. A new project is to build a small cottage with living and study space for the priests taking care of retreats and workshops, enabling them to stay on the premises and not commute.
Once again, without your support and generosity none of this would be possible.
The Board of Directors would like to ask you to consider making a donation. No donation is too small, and every gift counts. The fees charged for activities only cover the bare minimum of upkeep and operating costs, and thus donations are essential to fulfilling our mission. If you wish your donation to be targeted to a particular project, please indicate that with your response. Donating for scholarships for those who cannot afford to attend are also appreciated. As always, we request your prayers, so that each participant at Trumbull will receive the maximum benefit.
Trumbull Manor is owned and operated by Trumbull Manor, Inc., which is a 501 c (3) non profit corporation and your contributions are tax deductible.
